Coursework from the degree in Artificial Intelligence at De Montfort University (Leicester):

• Rice varieties with convolutional networks (MATLAB): transfer learning with four pretrained networks. The best one, ResNet50, gets 98% right.
• The curve of a horseshoe (MATLAB): a neural network that predicts the outer curve from four measurements of 219 horseshoes.
• Concentration with fuzzy logic (MATLAB): a system that estimates a person’s concentration from blinking, noise, duration and task difficulty.
• Locating a robot with an extended Kalman filter (Python): a simulated 2D robot that estimates where it is.
• Evacuating a shopping centre (NetLogo): 400 people, a spreading fire, panic and four exits.
• Big data with Spark: crime analysis with Spark SQL and loan classification with MLlib.
