AI assistant for sales proposals
An AI search tool over the archive of FERRI, a marine machinery manufacturer, of proposals: it finds similar projects, answers citing the documents and helps prepare new proposals.
A manufacturer of naval equipment had decades of sales proposals spread across network folders, and preparing a new proposal meant searching the old ones by hand.
The assistant reads that archive and lets you ask it questions in plain language: it finds similar proposals and drawings, answers citing which document each piece of data comes from, and helps draft a new proposal. Because the data is confidential, everything runs inside the company’s servers, without sending anything to the cloud.
It is built with Python, FastAPI and LangGraph; the information is organised in a graph (Neo4j) and the interface is a React web app. It is in production as a pilot.
