Jarvis, a voice assistant on the Mac

An assistant I talk to on my Mac: it understands speech locally, answers out loud and manages my calendar, my tasks and my email.

A voice assistant that lives on my Mac. It wakes up when I say its name, transcribes what I say on the computer itself, passes it to Claude Code and answers out loud with a voice that is also synthesised locally.

It reads my calendar, my tasks and my email, and sends alerts to my phone. It only changes something when I ask, and it asks before deleting anything. It can also hand code changes to a second agent isolated from the rest of the system, which delivers each job as a pull request for me to review.

It has a control screen in the browser with the calendar, the email, the conversation, the jobs and the memory. Built with Python and FastAPI, speech recognition with Whisper running locally, and the screen in React.
